The artwork above was created by 57 year old Tom G., an artist who is living with ALS. Tom uses augmentative and alternative communication technology to support his creativity through the use of eye gaze and switch technology. This allows Tom continued use of the small movement remaining in his thumb to use Grid 3 software. Tom was diagnosed with ALS more than 30 years ago. Before his diagnosis, Tom was engaged as a carpenter, artist, and nature enthusiast who climbed Mt. Washington three times. We are grateful to Tom for the sharing of his talent and his inspiration in the fight against ALS.

Double Donation December is Back!

A core group of Angels has banded together to provide matching funds for every dollar donated in the month of December. This year, instead of buying a ticket to the Gala or bidding on something at the auctions, make your gift twice as meaningful by donating to our challenge match during December.

Your donation will enable us to continue our mission of helping our neighbors impacted by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (“ALS”). While we can’t change the course of this disease, MAC Angels can help ease the journey for our PALS (person with ALS) and their families. Whether it’s building a ramp or handicap-accessible bathroom, providing equipment, accompanying a PALS to a clinic appointment or connecting people to resources, MAC Angels is there to fill in the gaps

We hope you will accept our “Double Donation December” challenge and help us meet our goal of $250,000 so we can continue to provide support and compassion to our PALS and their families.

Best wishes to you and your family this holiday season and always!
